SIFF 2025 Green Carpet Screening: Hajeer

As part of the 12th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival screenings, the feature film (Hajeer) will have its exclusive GCC premiere as part of the Green Carpet screenings. Set in 1960s Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Hajeer follows a gifted young musician born into a family of artists. When illness steals his hearing, he is cast aside—yet refuses defeat. As love turns to betrayal, he rises from despair, composing a symphony of redemption that defies prejudice and celebrates love’s enduring power against the silence that sought to claim him.
