As part of the 13th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival screenings, the feature film "87 Rupees Ink Pen" is presented. In rural Maharashtra, a young schoolboy dreams of owning an ink pen that costs 87 rupees—a simple object that feels almost beyond his reach. Determined to buy it, he embarks on a heartfelt journey filled with setbacks, small triumphs, and innocent humour. Through his quest, the film captures the hopes, hardships, and aspirations of childhood, when even the simplest possession can hold a world of meaning.
