SIFF 2026: Atlas of The Universe
PG
As part of the 13th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival screenings, the feature film "Atlas of The Universe" is presented. Ten-year-old Filip travels with his father to the nearest town to buy new school shoes. When his father becomes absorbed in conversation with an old friend, Filip continues alone. After mistakenly buying two right-foot shoes, he sets out to correct the error by himself. Along the way, he befriends a stray dog, naming it after his favourite footballer. What begins as a simple errand becomes a quiet journey through fear, responsibility, and courage, leading Filip towards his first steps into independence and growing up.
