SIFF 2026: Documentary Films

Part of the 13th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children & Youth, this package of six documentaries explores identity, resilience, and lives often overlooked. (Soul) reflects on the mark each person leaves on the world. (Children But) shares the experiences of children forced to work instead of enjoying their childhood and education. (Under The Sand) follows a Baluchistan community protecting its homes from encroaching sand. (Marjooj) looks beyond the headlines to revisit the life of Saudi hacker Marjooj Hazazi. (The Light in My Eyes) shares the experiences of children and young people with visual impairments, while (The Path of Memory, Between the Lands of Jasmine and Basil) follows a young girl discovering her southern Saudi heritage through the women in her family.
