SIFF 2026: International Short Films (Group 1)

Part of the 13th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children & Youth, this package of four international short films explores connection, opportunity, and the courage to challenge expectations. In (Unexpected Connections), a grandfather learns to use technology to grow closer to his grandson. (Little Big Dreams) follows a girl and her friends on a journey to secure her education. In (Avni), a young girl stands up for her right to attend school. (Boys Don’t Cry) brings a father and son together in the kitchen, where a New Year feast challenges what they have been taught about masculinity.
