SIFF 2026: Short Animation Films (Group 2)

Part of the 13th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children & Youth, this package of five short animation films explores memory, companionship, and finding hope after loss. (The Piano) follows a musical bond between father and daughter that carries into the next generation. In (A Sparrow’s Song), a grieving widow finds renewed purpose in caring for an injured bird. (Everything We Missed) reunites a toymaker and her dog through a cosmic adventure. In (The Empty Panel), a teenager returns to drawing to confront the loss of his beloved dog, while (My Brother, My Brother) revisits the shared lives of identical twins through their distinct memories.
