SIFF 2026: Student Short Films (Group 2)

Part of the 13th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children & Youth, this paclage of six student short films explores memory, fear, and the struggle to move forward. In (Holding On Hopes), a young filmmaker uses images to reach her father across the silence following her mother’s death. (On The Wall) follows a young man confronting unspoken grief, while (Back Then) finds a childhood memory in a discarded sweet wrapper. In (Kboda), a misunderstanding spirals into tragedy. (Lulu’s Night) turns a boy’s wish to play video games into a tense nighttime adventure, while (White Point) follows a recovering addict offered a chance to revisit his past.
