Tenet Gets Its First Reviews And They Are All Raves
Reviews have flooded in for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, which was released in the region on 27 August.
A new Nolan film is always an event but considering that this is one of the first major blockbusters to play in cinemas since the pandemic started, there were more eyes on it than usual.
The trailer didn’t give away too much. Nolan kept the plot as hidden as possible. However, even with limited knowledge about the film, one thing’s for sure – Tenet is meant to be seen on the big screen!
Both The Telegraph and Total Film concur that this makes for a perfect cinema experience!
"Christopher Nolan's time-bending action spectacular is the perfect film to get us back in cinemas – one viewing just won't be enough," writes @robbiereviews.

"A monumental big-screen spectacle, Tenet is a film that perfectly exemplifies what makes the cinema experience – in all its heart-stopping grandeur – quite so special." Read @JordanFarley's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review https://t.co/NrQs0ymyY9 pic.twitter.com/Pqgco3qCyx

#Tenet is Nolan’s most complex (& confusing) film to date. The cast is brilliant: Washington, Pattinson, & Debicki are fan-freaking-tastic. What Nolan accomplishes here on a technical level is borderline wizardry & should be seen on the biggest screen possible. Continued... (1/4) pic.twitter.com/gfgRhRXQyJ

A great cast, a great plot and a great movie!
#Tenet is sensory overload to the highest degree. There's so much to take in on one viewing but what I can say is it's an exhilarating rush and one of the most ambitious blockbusters I've seen in a long time. Can't wait to see it a second time! pic.twitter.com/820L60AFR2

With many hailing this as Nolan’s most complex movie yet…
#Tenet is a lot to take in. It’s ambitious, crazy, mind-boggling, and probably Nolan’s most complex movie. John David Washington is badass as the Protagonist and Robert Pattinson steals the scenes he’s in. pic.twitter.com/ebUiYDp9Nv

A repeat watch in cinemas is a MUST!
#Tenet is absolutely wild. LOVE the way Nolan shoots his action sequences. The sound looms so large in this film & ultimately becomes its own character. The second half is CRAZY! It’s going to take a couple of viewings to truly lock it all in, but I wanna watch it again right now pic.twitter.com/SWNGKYwq6K

#Tenet (English|2020)
Nolan delivers a great film to experience. Complex narration, involves Time Travel & inverted concept. So its confusing at times. Reverse action blocks r mind blowing - car chase, aeroplane, climax. Fantastic BGM & Visuals.
MUST (Repeat) Watch in Theatre! pic.twitter.com/fKrXC0vTPY
