Best known for her outstanding dancing skills, Canadian-born Nora Fatehi is also a model, actress, and singer. Her first movie was Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans, which led to more substantial roles. Nora worked alongside Moroccan hip-hop group Fnaïre and issued an Arabic version of the famous ‘Dilbar’ song from the Bollywood classic Satyamev Jayate.

But meeting up years later, they decide to fulfil their childhood dreams and board the Madgaon Express. On the train, Pinku manages to inadvertently swap bags with a notorious drug dealer. The resulting chaos sends them on a hilarious, if somewhat perilous, caper.
Batla House – 2019 – 7.2
Based on the real-life events surrounding the 'Batla House Encounter' in 2008, this is, without doubt, one of the best Nora Fatehi movies of all time and a perfect opportunity for her to show that she is much more than just a singer or dancer. A powerful film that may not be suitable for younger viewers, it charts how a violent shootout between the police and terrorists leads one police officer to not only hunt down those responsible but to uncover whether the actions of the police were justified. It's a dark film that delves into a controversial event and its effects on those involved.
Thank God – 2022 – 5.6
An arrogant real estate broker has a terrible accident. Coming around after the event, he quickly realises that he isn't where he is supposed to be. God appears and offers him a choice. Because of his flaws (which include substantial debts), he has to play the 'Game of Life'. If he wins, he can return to earth and live out his life. But if he loses, it's a one-way ticket to Hell. Nora Fatehi appears as herself in this interesting movie - a remake of the 2009 Danish film Sorte Kugler.
Satyameva Jayate – 2018 – 5.7
When four police inspectors, known for their corruption and less-than-honest past, are burned alive by a vigilante, DCP Shivansh has to go after the perpetrator. He soon discovers that Vir, the vigilante, isn't done routing out corrupt cops yet and will stop at nothing to fulfil his mission. So who is the bad guy here, the vigilante who holds corrupt cops to account or the honest cop sent to stop him? The drama is interspersed with musical numbers, where Nora Fatehi showcases her prowess as a lead dancer. A powerful film with some scenes that will not be suitable for younger viewers.
Crakk: Jeethegaa Toh Jiyegaa! – 2024 – 4.8
This non-stop action film is a powerhouse of extreme sports and a fight to survive. Siddharth Dixit struggles from hand to mouth in the slums of Mumbai. But a way out and riches are promised if he takes part in – and survives – Maidaan, an underground contest where losing will cost you your life. However, Siddarth has more than money in mind as he enters the contest to uncover the truth about his missing brother, Nihal. Nora Fatehi plays Alia, making this one of her best and most successful movie roles to date.

It tells the tale of two rival dance groups from Pakistan and India. While they have been competing for years against one another, a single cause in London brings them together. Dark, menacing and intense, My Birthday Song is a complex film that examines the aftermath of a wild night. Ad executive Rajiv realises that there are consequences to your actions as he tries to work out what is real and what was imagined, what is true and what is a lie. Nora Fatehi plays Sandy in this powerful thriller.
Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans - 2014 - 5.6
Nora Fatehi’s first movie is very different from the Bollywood song and dance numbers she would be famous for later on. This intense thriller takes place in the steamy heart of the Sundarbans jungle, with danger lurking around every corner. After Pundit’s brother is killed by a rogue white tigress while on a photojournalism assignment, he calls on a team of fellow commandos to go into the protected centre of the forest to avenge his brother’s death. However, while he may think he is a match for the tigers that inhabit this region, he is very much mistaken and the hunter soon becomes the hunted.
