As part of the 12th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival screenings, this package of 6 Arabic short films explores childhood, memory, and resilience. In (Coop), a boy’s attempt to fix a mistake leads to a heavy moral dilemma. (Malika) takes us on a magical journey of rebellion and imagination as a girl uncovers her grandmother’s hidden past. (Mixtape) portrays a boy’s efforts to mend a broken bond through music. (The Mullah) reflects on defiance and voice against authority. (Khaled and Nema) weave hope and heritage into a fight for survival, while (Wa’ad) examines family ties tested by promises.
