SIFF 2025: International Short Films (Group 3)

As part of the 12th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival screenings, this package of Korean short films explores childhood, memory, and resilience. In (My Affection is Alive), a girl finds comfort and belonging in a magical encounter that recalls her late mother’s embrace. (The Report Card) follows a young girl weighed down by fear as she prepares to reveal her poor grades to her strict mother. Finally, (How to Open the Door) portrays a girl’s struggle after leaving the orphanage, where reality and surrealism intertwine in her quest to reclaim her home and rediscover her identity.
