SIFF 2025: International Short Films (Group 5)

As part of the 12th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival screenings, this package of Korean short films reflects resilience, empathy, and the search for connection. In (A Better Place), a young girl abandoned in Seoul forms an unlikely bond with a stranded immigrant, surviving a night of fear and fragile hope. (The Good Student) follows a teenager whose recognition as a model student clashes with the heavy responsibility of supporting a classmate in need. Finally, (Cat Translator) tenderly portrays a girl’s grief after losing her pet, as she chases one last message of love and memory.
