Rain Fire – Avengers: Endgame

Wanda Maximoff has suffered enough. Shortly after being brought back from The Hulk’s snap, Wanda meets Thanos in a one-on-one battle. Although she was fighting a version of Thanos from 2014, who had yet to cause her so much pain, Wanda ensures that he’ll remember her. Wanda single-handedly wreaks havoc on the Mad Titan, so much so that he calls on his men to rain fire down on the Scarlet Witch. If he hadn’t called for back-up, we can safely say that Wanda would’ve ended Thanos right then and there. Is she the most powerful Avenger? Without question.

Hi Boys! – Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn

Birds of Prey is filled with violence, but it also isn’t afraid to be silly. When Harley Quinn storms a police station with a giant bazooka, the last thing you’d expect is for it to be loaded with confetti and glitter, but that’s exactly what we got. Harley effortlessly goes through the entire station, taking out officer after officer in the most ridiculously entertaining ways. You can always count on Harley to find fun in the most unexpected things.

Thank You for Your Consideration – The Hunger Games

As she’s demonstrating her skills with a bow, Katniss Everdeen notices that the Gamemakers would rather socialise among themselves and admire their luxurious banquet rather than take any interest in the tributes or their lives, which will likely be lost soon in the brutal Hunger Games. Infuriated, Katniss fires an arrow into their balcony, much to the horror of the pampered Capitol representatives. She then bows and utters the line “Thank you for your consideration.” before exiting. Boom, mic drop.

Abort, Abort, Abort! – The Incredibles

Discovering mid-flight that her children have stowed away on board, Helen is mortified to learn that anti-aircraft missiles have been directed towards her. She initially pleads on the plane’s radio transmissions for the missiles to be aborted but is quickly forced to think on her feet to find a way out. Using her elasticity to turn herself into a makeshift parachute, Helen grabs her children and leaps out of the plane just as the missiles hit.

For anyone in 2012 wondering why Natasha would be a member of The Avengers, this iconic scene was answer enough.

I Am All the Jedi – Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
